Company Background:
Pipe Dream Polish is a one woman show. April is the incredible mastermind behind the "A Night In Vegas" collection and loads of other beautiful polishes. Seriously, just visit here website >> by clicking here << and you can see for yourself. Unfortunately, the ANIV cremes are in extremely high demand and are sold out 99% of the time. However, April, as often as she is able, has restocks specifically for this collection. Her last restock was December 14th and that's how I got my set. If you are interested in getting your own set, be prepared! Restock information can be found on her website and you can be conveniently informed by signing up for her newsletters (also on the website). Also, when restocks occur, they go quickly. About 5 minutes quickly, just a warning. Finally, currently, she only ships to the United States, US Territories, Canada, and Australia, BUT I did hear some news that she is teaming up with Edgy Polish who ship internationally!
A Night In Vegas Cremes:
There are 7 polishes included in this neon rainbow collection. On The List (pink), 110 Degrees (orange), Light Of Day (yellow), High Roller (green), Happy Hour (turquoise), All In (blue), and V.I.P. Pass (purple). They are all beautiful creme polishes (Happy Hour has a slight shimmer) that are extremely pigmented and opaque for being neon polishes. They are available in full size (15 mL - $9) or minis (8 mL - $6) or in a full-size set ($63). She also offers coupon codes that can be found on the site, so check those out before ordering!
Nail Art:
I tried to do a wide array of nail art with these polishes to really see how they worked. They are notorious for being really good for watermarbling, so I used them twice for just that. There really are dependable for it and spread quite nicely. I did have a little bit of trouble with the slight shimmer of Happy Hour causing the following colors to spread a little less, but nothing too drastic. Watermarbling is overall a messy process but the final result is so unique and the polishes are a breeze to work with. I also did 2 different gradient (or ombre) designs and, as expected, they worked magnificently! All in all, I find these to be very versatile in nail art -- the possibilities are endless!
Quality:
I went ahead and swatched each polish for you and tried my best to capture the true colors but it proved to be quite difficult. I will still include them and share a bit about the application and quality. They all are creamy and opaque neons that don't require a white base. I repeat, THEY DO NOT REQUIRE A WHITE BASE. I knew they were watermarble geniuses, but I didn't know they were neon polishes sent from heaven. I was going to swatch these 2 nails without a white base and 2 nails with a white base but there was no difference. Their full beautiful neon capacity is reached in just 2 coats on a bare nail. They're perfection. (okay, I think I need to calm down, but I can't) They also all dry to a satin-matte finish like typical neon polishes but I applied topcoat for each swatch because that's how I roll.
